Google was publicly rejected when it attempted to buy over Groupon so it comes as no surprise that a new service called Google Offers is soon to debut to the huge audience base Google has.
Google Offer to taken on Groupon
With a database of Google Local Businesses, Adwords clients and Gmail users alone, if Google plays their cards right they could potentially have more subscribers than Groupon or other services like LivingSocial by the end of the first business day.
According to Mashable who uncovered the confidential fact sheet, “Google Offers is a new product to help potential customers and clientele find great deals in their area through a daily email.”
Furthermore, the screenshot in the confidential document showed Google Offers looking almost identical to Groupon and LivingSocial with the addition of Google Checkout, and Google Reader & Google Buzz sharing options.
More on this as it develops.
