Well this certainly came out of left field. While all eyes were on Verizon Wireless to finally announce an official US release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, AT&T has taken to Google+ to see if its subscribers want the device.

In the past we've seen Android 2.2 Froyo run on the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. However come Android 2.3 Gingerbread, we never heard of successful ports to Apple products ever again.

US carrier Verizon Wireless posted an interesting poll a couple of hours ago. The poll which was setup by VZW support asked customers, "What type of assistance are you looking from us?"
