Despite all the Apple lawsuits, Samsung doesn't seem to distracted from its goals to beat the fruit company. Now according to sources from BGR, Samsung is working on an 11.6-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with a whopping 2560x1600 resolution display i.e. retina resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 to debut at MWC 2012 (BGR)
The unnamed Samsung tablet (shall we just call it Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6), will likely debut at MWC 2012 and will be "barely larger" than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 thanks to a thinner bezel. Under the hood we will findĀ a 2GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor and Android Beam for easy syncing with the Galaxy Nexus. Also included is wireless docking mode for gaming on HDTV which may help the Korean company compete with Airplay and Apple TV.
No further details or leaked screenshots are available however the latter may give us nothing more than evidence of its existence since its design will more than likely be mistaken for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. We'll keep you posted a more develops.
Mobile World Congress is scheduled for sometime in February 2012.
