With the Verizon 4G LTE coverage map expected to blanket 140 markets before 2011-end, the next question is when can we expect to see the 4G LTE smartphones Verizon debuted at CES 2011 just last week?
Droid-Life for one has been trying to put the pieces together to come up with a ballpark figure of when we can see the top 4G LTE handsets hit Big Red this year. Now as with all rumors, we suggest taking this with a big dose of NaCl. If anything, these speculative dates may give you a rough idea of which 4G Android is coming out first and in which quarter (as long as there are no unexpected delays).
HTC Thunderbolt, Droid Bionic, LG Revolution, Samsung SCH-i510 release date (rumor)
- HTC Thunderbolt: End of February, early March
- Samsung SCH-i510: March
- LG Revolution: March, early April
- DROID Bionic: Early Summer, June
So it looks like we can expect to see the HTC Thunderbolt 4G first while it will be quite a wait for the Droid Bionic. Hit the source if you want to know how DL came up with these release date estimates.
