GM CEO considers Toyota Prius a "geek mobile" (Chevy Volt is for jocks?)
Speaking at the Economic Clube of Washington DC, GM CEO explained the Toyota Prius as a "geek mobile" and outright proclaimed that he ""wouldn't be caught dead in a Prius."
While it is quite natural that CEOs don't like using their competitor's products, this was a little harsh no doubt. The outburst wasn't let be as a Toyota spokesperson later told the NY Times that "Toyota has sold more than two million Prius hybrids worldwide, and counting. Those buyers can't all be geeks."
Now GizmoCrunch just has one question for both automakers, what's wrong with being a geek??
