While the last HTC device to hit Verizon was the Rezound, it didn't make as much of an impact as expected. Now things are set to change as another mystery HTC device is headed to Big Red.
HTC Fireball headed to Verizon Wireless
A new device called the HTC Fireball with 4G (ADR6410L) has just surfaced in Verizon's inventory system, parking itself in between Rezound (ADR6425) and the Thunderbolt (ADR6400). At this point it is impossible to tell what it has to offer but with a name like Fireball, we get the feeling it won't be chickenfeed.
Given that it has been a while since HTC has released a keyboard packing smartphone that garnered as much attention as the HTC Desire Z, it may not be crazy to think that the HTC Fireball is a Thunderbolt LTE with a keyboard, or so the folks over at Droid-Life hint.
Would you be interested in a HTC slider with LTE? Or is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus your pick for the next two years? Sound off on Facebook!
