Now it is unclear what the reason behind the delay could be but word on the street hints that Verizon is resting all its hope on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and don't plan to release any DROID phones at the moment so it can be overshadowed by the Nexus (hint: DROID RAZR).
Well that hasn't stopped any new details from surfacing about the upcoming keyboard packing DROID phone. Now some new pictures have surfaced courtesy of SWF files pulled by a reader from the hidden DROID pages on the Verizon Wireless website.
As can be seen, it utilizes a sleek all-black exterior and that hump at the top gives it a somewhat distinct look. Also the keyboard seems to have been tweaked again slightly. Here's hoping Motorola foregoes BLUR and decides to release it with an unlocked bootloader, but don't bet on it.
