One of the most annoying aspects of the Amazon Kindle Fire will no doubt be its block of the Android Market. Any attempt to browse to the Android Market will result in a redirection to the Amazon AppStore.
Amazon no longer blocks Android Market on Kindle Fire
The reason behind this is simple, Amazon wants apps downloaded directly from its AppStore and not have to deal with Android Market app issues. However given that it is a World Wide Web browser, Amazon should technically not be blocking sites on it.
Well the good news is that Amazon has now gone ahead and disabled the block. Now this doesn't necessarily mean you can install apps from the Android Market but it does let you compare both options and see what is available where and how much it costs.
On a side note, the recently rolled out Amazon Kindle Fire update breaks root and even disables the SuperOneClick utility.
