Verizon Confirms Issues With Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Fix Coming

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus just like every other popular smartphone when it releases on the market, isn't without its fair share of problems. While I haven't personally experienced any signal strength issues with our test unit, it seems to be a common occurrence among Verizon Wireless users.

Verizon acknowledges signal strength issues with Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Now Verizon Wireless has gone ahead and officially acknowledged that there is in fact a problem and it is working on a fix. The official Verizon account @VZWSupport today tweeted that the signal strength issues are "currently being investigated" and that development of a fix is underway.

Given that there have also been complaints with LTE performance, here's hoping Verizon fixes both antennas simultaneously with whatever fix they plan to roll out.

On a side note, for all we know there could be an antennagate situation on our hands again where Samsung may just tweak the signal bar so it doesn't look so poor anymore. We'll keep you posted as more develops.
